Prayer books in fine bindings - 19th century and early 20th century


Four prayer books in proper bindings. The 1880s.


* Shayach Itzhak - includes prayers from the entire year with Derekh Chaim by Rabbi Ya'akov of Lissa translated into English by the young Avraham Bar-Yitzhak Freira, London, 1864. Hebrew and English page by page, leather binding with gilded decorations.

* Seder Rina and Tefila, Prague 1882. Leather binding with gilt decorations, metal buckle for closing. All the pages of the Siddur are surrounded by a handsome frame.

* Siddur Tefilat Yesharim, Redelheim 1906. Hebrew and German Page facing page. The page preceding the title page has a fine illustration of the prayer of Daniel. Cutting of gilded pages. Metal Chain. Fine leather binding with gilt decorations.

* sidur Tefilat hachodech according to Sephardic custom, Austria 1934. Olive wood binding 'Bezalel Yerushalem', in front of the cover is a fine decoration of Rachel's Tomb - wood carving.
