Patriotic Goat Platform Bell Ringer
By the Althof-Bergman Company. New York - 1880's - 9 1/8" Long. The larger pair of cast iron wheels at the front of the platform are set on an eccentric axle. This causes an "up-down" action that allows the chimes to strike the bell. Bergman made many different variations of this platform bell ringer.
