Letter by Rabbi Aharon Yaakov Singer (London) regarding the custom of laying flowers on the graves and more

Answers in Halacha regarding customs related to the dead in the handwriting and signature of Rabbi Aharon Yaakov Singer, London 1929.

The genius discusses in his letter two matters related to the dead. The custom of laying the flowers on the grave of the dead - he writes to forbid this custom, both because it is the custom of Gentiles, and for the reason that it is customary to exclude the expenses on the dead. And adds an explanation that the custom of laying flowers on the grave "you have no more rudeness than that". The genius was later asked if a 40-year-old woman could be handle with the dead, and wrote to forbid this so that she would not be defiled.

Two pages. Official stationery. Very good condition.
