LUFTWAFFE 2ND MODEL DAGGER WITH SCABBARD BY TIGER
2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger with Scabbard and Portapee by Tiger, Solingen. A high-quality dagger with bright blade ending in a sharp point, lightly polished at some point. The blade ricasso on the reverse is cleanly stamped with the 'Tiger Solingen' logo. The cream colored grip is fine, still tightly wrapped with silver wire. The crossguard and pommel are also very attractive, retaining almost all of their original, excellent detail on the flying Luftwaffe eagle, swastika, and pommel. Complete with a silver wire portepee, which appears to be original. The scabbard shows even, light wear and and only very scattered, light oxidation. It remains free of any dents or dings. A fine representative example, in overall excellent condition.
