One of the most important and early books dealing with the annals of Rishon Lezion from the day of the aliyah on the land; The founders, Rishon Lezion wineries, the various communities, the first workers, schools and kindergartens, Herzl in Rishon Lezion, and many other topics about the history of the city. The printing of the book extended for for about three and a half years from 1938 to 1941 in the printing house of the artist Zelig Yankelwitz in Rishon Lezion. The engravings of the book were prepared in the zincography of Avraham Soskin. The book is accompanied by 382 photographs depicting Rishon Lezion since its inception, most of which were taken by photographer Egon Levy. The important introduction by the book's editor, David Yudilevich, there is an extension of the enormous difficulties and hard work that accompanied the publication of the book. At the end of the book, leaves of advertisements for manufacturing companies in the Land of Israel.
