The book "Rosh Milin" whose name is derived from the verse in Daniel: "ראש מילין אמר" wrote Rabbi Kook during his stay in London at the beginning of the year [1917], While hiding the fact of printing the book from his son Rabbi Zvi Yehuda. The book is considered one of the most complex to study Of all the writings of Rabbi Cook, it cannot be understood without a wide prior background in Kabbalah, psychology, and recognition theory. The book has compiled at least two comprehensive commentaries that have not yet been published: one still in Rabbi Kook's life by Rabbi Shmarya Menashe HaCohen Adler of London, and the other by Rabbi Chaim Yaakov Levin, the eldest son of Rabbi Arie Levin who was one of Rabbi Kook's disciples. Rabbi Adler's commentary contains 300 pages, and Rabbi Kook who knew the essay said that his commentary refers to the Kabbalah part of the book, and not to the philosophical-philosophical side.
On the title page is "Abraham Haim Shag (Zwebner)" stamp. Rabbi Avraham Chaim Shag [1883-1958], the great-grandson of the genius Rabbi Avraham Shag, one of the great students of the "hatam Sofer, " studied and taught at the Etz Chaim Yeshiva, one of the founders of "Mizrachi" and his head in the country, and a member of the First Knesset on behalf of the United Religious Front.
