Chinese Qing Stoneware Double Handled Vase
Chinese Qianlong Qing Dynasty double-handled black glaze stoneware vase, ca. 1750. With a monochromatic black glaze shot with violet.
Height: 7 in x diameter: 5 in.
Condition: The pottery is in good condition in general with no major losses, cracks, or chips. Light wear throughout as expected. There is a minor original firing flaw to the exterior. When inspected under UV light, there is no visible sign of restoration. To the rim, there is a dent, smaller than 1/8 in, and minor cracks from it. No other chips along the rim. There are four minute light brown accretions. To the inner rim, there is a line of loss to glazing, measuring approx. 1 inch. There is a 1/4 inch chip to the footrim; wear to the underside.
