Pair of Japanese blue and white porcelain plates depicting blooming flowers, bamboo, and moths.
Each; diameter: 8 in.
Condition: The plates are in good condition with no visible chips, cracks, or losses. Original firing and glazing flaws. Both have unevenness to the surface to the underside, which seems to be original. Both plates have three areas with sticker accretion, not visible at arm length. Both have a minute chip to the footrim. One of the plates have a minute chip to the exterior of the rim. No visible sign of restoration under UV light.
