Autograph approbation for a Sefer by R. Yehuda Leibush Rothstein, by R. Shalom Mordechai Ha’Cohen Schwardron, the MaHarShaM of Brezhan. This Sefer was seemingly never published.
R. Sholom Mordechai Ha’Cohen Schwardron (1835-1911), known as the MaHarShaM, was a foremost Halachic authority of his generation, responding to Halachic queries from across the world. His main seforim Shailos U’Teshuvos MaHarShaM and Daas Torah are widely studied sources of Halacha. Additionally, he authored Mishpat Sholom on Chosen Mishpat and Techeiles Mordechai on the weekly Torah portions. Primarily a talmid of R. Yoel Ashkenazy, he served in various rabbinical positions most notably Brezhan, after which he is known.
