A PERSIAN QAJAR IRAN DHAL SHIELD, LATE 19TH CENTURY
A separ, Qâjâr Iran, late 19th-century, of a circular form forged of steel with four domes decorated with a floral motif, engraved and partially inlaid with gold. Four groups of kneeling figures on either side of the medallions inlaid with gold. The center cartouche is adorned with pseudo-inscriptions, friezes of foliage, floral cartouches and figures at the rim.

Condition: Very good with expected signs of wear.
