EMMY GOERING
(1893-1973) German actress and second wife of Reichsmarshall Hermann Goering. She served as Adolf Hitler's hostess at many state functions prior to WWII and thereby staked a claim to the title of 'First Lady of the Third Reich'. Her book 'An der Seite Meines Mannes' (By the Side of my Husband), first edition, 1967, Verlag K.W. Schuetz, 337 pages, with photographs, 6 x 8.25 inches. Full signature and dedication in blue ink, Munich, October 1967, with a quote by Jean Paul, 'Memory is the only paradise out of which we cannot be driven away', dedicated to Peter Gruendgens-Gorski, adopted son and lover of German actor Gustav Gruendgens.
