Four Hebrew calendars from the period of Soviet Russia
Four calendars from Soviet Russia - three photographed calendars due to the ban on printing Hebrew books in Communist Russia, and another one printed.
1-3. Three photographed calendars for the years 1960-1961,1962 - 1963,1965-1966. Photocopies were made from handwriting of each calendar with "Happy New Year" greetings in hebrew on the covers. On the cover of the calendar for 1965 is a photograph of the Great Choral Synagogue in St. Petersburg, Russia. Extremely rare.
4. Printed calendar for the year 1982-1983. On the first page is a photograph of Rabbi Fishman, the chief rabbi of the synagogue of the Jewish community in Moscow on his 70th birthday. And a photograph of the foreground of the "Choir" synagogue in Moscow. In the first pages, "Prayer for Peace" appears, and "Prayer for the Peace of the Government" - for the peace of the USSR government. The calendar itself is in Yiddish and Russian.
