Israelitische Rundschau - Volume 33 issues, Berlin 1901

The Israelitische Rundschau magazine - a German-language Jewish newspaper published in Berlin. Volume with 33 issues of the year 1901. The Israelitische Rundschau was in fact one of the earliest Jewish periodicals published in Germany. It was published for a little over a year between 1901 and 1902, and was the inspiration for the famous "Jüdische Rundschau", which followed.

Before us 33 bound issues, from May 1901 to the December 1901.

The newspaper's target audience was Jewish youth, and its purpose was to bring to its attention the path of Basal Zionism. The newspaper reported to its readers all the news from the Jewish world in Germany and abroad. On the title page of each issue is an illustration of a Jew handcuffed to exile and an angel with a Star of David pointing his finger to zion Seen in the background - according to the famous illustration by EM Lillien.

[33] bound sheets. Very good condition.
