A collection of photographs and documents of a Jewish soldier who served in the Allied army during WWII
Large collection of photographs, passports, certificates of appreciation, and important documents of the Jewish soldier Moshe Klausner who served in the Allied army during World War II.
Klausner, a native of Lithuania, enlisted in the Allied army in an elite unit at the beginning of the war and engaged in covert activity. Among his personal documents: individual and group photographs of him in the company of Allied soldiers [arranged in an antique album], a certificate of appreciation from the United States authorities for his war-classified activities signed by US President Harry Truman [probably in print], various certificates of honor, various certificates he received from institutions Studies in which he studied in Vilnius before the war, various identity cards - some of which are classified which he used during the war, and many other documents that were not thoroughly examined by us. A small part of the documents are from the period when he lived in Vilnius (Vilna) before the war, and from the period when Klausner immigrated to Eretz Israel after the war and are mainly engaged in his Zionist activities.
