A foundational sefer that serves as a "source" for hundreds of psakim in the Shulchan Aruch.
On the title page, a beautiful signature: "the young Maimon Chaim..".
Rabbi Yosef ben Shlomo Kolon, the Mahari"k (1420-1480), one of the greatest poskim of Klal Yisrael, resided in France, where he was active. His renowned talmid was Rabbeinu Ovadiah MiBartenura, the famed commentator on the Mishnayos. From his Torah, we have responsa and explanations on the Torah.
