ANTIQUE FRENCH GILT BRONZE BLUE PORCELAIN VASES
A pair of antique gilt bronze mounted cobalt blue ground porcelain vases in the Sevres style. The vases are decorated with symmetrical paintings. Each vase is of inverted ovoid form finely painted all over with a rustic scene and a group portrait of a couple. The covers, necks and feet are embellished with gilt patterns. The handles are chiseled in floral design. The vases are raised on gilt bronze bases. Manufactured in France, circa the early 20th century.
Dimensions: Size: 11 x 20 3/4 in. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Overall good antique condition. Signs of age and wear. Scratches, patina, scuffs. Refer to photos. Sold As Is.
