Mrs. Glickel, daughter of Rabbi Yehuda Leib, known as Glickel of Hameln (1645 – 2nd day of Rosh Hashana 5485, 19th September, 1724) was an Ashkenazi Jewish businesswoman and memoirist. Glickel became famous only many years after her death, thanks to her memoirs, which she wrote in Yiddish.
