Rare Poster in Honor of the Rayya"tz's Departure from Jerusalem. Av, 1929.

Large poster printed on behalf of Yeshivat Torat Emet, a blessing upon the departure of Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneersohn, the Admo"r the Rayya"tz of Lubavitch, for the end of his visit to Jerusalem. Jerusalem, Zuckerman Press, Av, 1929. Rare poster.

Poster text: The blessing upon the departure: Today, Sunday 12 Menachem Av, at 6 p.m., the sacred Admo"r shlit"a of Lubavitch departed. All who hold Torah dear and beloved can receive his blessing upon leaving at the Amdursky Hotel. For the sake of historic accuracy: Despite what is written here, the Rayya"tz stayed on another day in Jerusalem, and only left the next day, Monday, 13 Av.

Rare historic poster from the only visit ever by the Admo"r of Lubavitch in the Land of Israel. An entire sefer has been written about this historic visit - Massa HaRebbe B'Eretz HaKodesh by David Ze'ev Rottenburg.

Refer to the Hebrew catalog text the passage from this book discussing this event.
