Chiddushei HaRitv"a, Three Volumes. 18th-19th Centuries. First Edition
Chiddushei HaRitv"a on tractates: Chulin, Shabbat and Yevamot, by Rabbi Yom Tov son of Avraham Alasevilli, one of the rabbinic leaders of Spain during the period of the Early Authorities.
Before us is the first edition of one of the most important foundational books on the Talmud.
* Chiddushei Chilun L'HaRitv"a - printed by Moshe Katz's grandsons. Prague, 1735. 27 leaves, 32 cm. The flyleaf bears an interesting bibliographic inscription by an expert on the progression of the manuscript, which proves that the book was printed together with Torat HaBayit HaAroch L'HaRashb"a (see below), and they are therefore bound together. Bound with:
* Torat HaBayit HaAroch L'HaRashb"a with Bedek HaBayit andֲ Mishmeret HaBayit. Prague, 1735. 31 leaves, 32 cm.
* Chiddushei HaRitv"a L'Masechet Shabbat. Salonika, 1806. (These are not in fact Chiddushei HaRitv"a, they are actually Chiddushei HaRa"n.) [1] 62 leaves, without Shu"t Rabbi Shlomo HaLevi. 29 cm.
* Chiddushei HaRitv"a L'Masechet Yevamot. Livorno, 1787. With a lengthy approbation by the Chid"a. [5] 204, [1] leaf, 20 cm.
Stefansky, Sifrei Yesod 64. Overall fine condition.
