Yiddish letter handwritten, signed, and stamped by the gaon Rabbi Simchah Bunim Ehrenfeld, rabbi of Mattersdorf. Mattersdorf, 1899.
Rabbi Simchah Bunim Ehrenfeld [1855-1926] was the renowned rabbi of Mattersdorf for over 40 years. His son was the gaon Rabbi Shmuel Ehrenfeld, author of Chatan Sofer, and grandson of the Chatam Sofer. He authored Ma'aneh Simchah. His descendants were the rabbis from Mattersdorf who founded Kiryat Mattersdorf in Jerusalem.
