Background: Very large work on the laws of gittin, including 150 names of men and women who had divorced in the author's beit din, with inquires as to how to spell their names, and what was written in the get (divorce document). The author was a rabbinic leader and dayan in Constantinople, he passed away in 1717.
Unique Features: Rabbi Aryeh Leib Horowitz of Stryj's stamps. Rabbi Aryeh Leib Horowitz was born in 1847 to his father Rabbi Yitzchak Horowitz, rabbi of Stanislav. As a young man he followed the Admor, author of Divrei Chaim of Sanz. He served 26 years as rabbi of Stryj, becoming famous in the Jewish world. When his father passed away he was called upon to take his place in Stanislav. He is known in the Torah world by the name of his book, Harei Besamim. He passed away in 1901.
