Historic-Chaba"d Letter Loaded with Blessings Signed by the Rebbe, the Rayya"tz of Lubavitch. 1941

Important historic-Chaba"d letter loaded with important blessings. Signed by the Admo"r Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneerson of Lubavitch. Sent about a year after the establishment of Chaba"d in the United States. 17 Sivan, 1941.

The beginning of the letter discusses the Rebbe's relative, the Admo"r Rabbi Shmaryah Noach Schneersohn. The Rebbe relates that he heard that there are about a hundred of his letters by Rabbi Geier, and if he wants the Rebbe to see them, he should send them to him for a week and a half to two weeks.

The Rebbe the Rayya"tz writes many blessings in the margins of the letter, not one of which went unfulfilled - blessings for health, and blessings for all material and spiritual desired to be fulfilled: "May Hashem strengthen [your] health, and fulfil your heart's desires for the good with material and spiritual blessings, seeking [your] well-being, Yosef Yitzchak."

It goes without saying that the date of the letter, 17 Sivan 1941, is noted in Chaba"d chronicles as the day when the Rebbe Menachem Mendel and Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka boarded the ship Serpa Pinto which sailed from Portugal to New York.

Refer to the Hebrew catalog text for a brief biography of the Admo"r Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneerson of Lubavitch.
