Most Precious: Letter from the Rayya"tz - Health! Livelihood! Handwritten Blessings! Wondrous Signature!

Letter loaded with blessings for health and livelihood, with the rare, mysterious and special signature of the Admo"r Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneersohn ztzuk"l of Lubavitch. Sent to the Chassid of illustrious ancestry, Rabbi Shlomo Friedman. 7 Kislev, 1949.

This letter was written before the G-dly light was extinguished - about two months before the Rayya"tz passed away. It is worth noting the interesting and mysterious phenomenon in the Rayya"tz's signature: With the letter י' from his second name written in Assyrian script. It was later verified that this was the Rayya"tz's signature in the last year of his life - astounding.

  • Health: the Rebbe mentions the words health/healing three times! "To improve your health, " "To strengthen your family's health, " "May Hashem send [you] healing."
  • Livelihood: The Rebbe the Rayya"tz grants a blessing for abundant livelihood: "May [Hashem] grant you good livelihood in abundance." Later on, the Rebbe adds, "I'm sending a check for 100 shekels." The Rebbe's gift constitutes a segulah sign for livelihood and wealth, and the Rebbe concludes with a blessing for 'success, ' which, according to Chassidut, includes all blessings within it, "May Hashem grant you success."

In the margins of the letter, the Rebbe the Rayya"tz adds four [Hebrew] words of blessing in his own script, "respectfully and with blessings in the material and the spiritual, Yosef Yitzchak, " with the astounding signature with the Assyrian-script "י" and the picture surrounding it, like a flag or a shield!

Refer to the Hebrew catalog text for a brief biography of the Admo"r Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneerson of Lubavitch.
