Machzor per the custom of the Romah community, including all the additions, with the explanations of foreign words and comments. Part II, Venice, di Gara Press. 1606-1607. "Exceptionally rare edition."

Machzor for the days of selichot, for Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur, for Sukkot and public fast-days. Some of the hymns and hoshanas are accompanied by short explanations in the margins of the leaves.

Early, important machzor. Refer to Mavo L'Machzor Bnei Romah p. 117, no. 16.

Haberman, HaMadpis Juan di Gara 242. Ginzei Yisrael - Osef Mehlman 317, where he notes: "This is the rarest edition."

Owner's signature, antique inscription on the flyleaf.

347 leaf, 15 cm.

Fine condition. minimal aging stains. Light blemishes in several individual leaves. The title page and leaves 70-72 are shorter. Bookplate: Ariel Tuaf. New semi-leather binding.
