Ma'aseh Avot Kinus L'Tzadikim. Jerusalem, 1901. Rulings and hundreds of Rabbinic signatures against the new schools in the Land of Israel.
Over one hundred halachic rulings and excommunications issued by the foremost Rabbis of all sectors and groups, sages from the east and west and the leading Rebbes throughout the Jewish world in various periods in opposition to the new schools in the Land of Israel. Among the hundreds of Rabbis is the wording of the excommunication by Rabbi Moshe Yehoshua Leib Diskin which includes those who study in the schools and those who assist in their construction: "Even if all the sages of Israel should convene together they are not authorized and are unable to move even a small entity"; the wording of the excommunication by Rabbi Shmuel Salant: "This prohibition is valid until the present day and no Beit Din can annul it". A ruling by the Maharam Schik is also quoted: "And what is the source of all the harm, the evil schools which should make do with the gentile , children..." and many more.
