Anthology of Hymns and Supplications from Morocco. 18-19th Century
Manuscript. Large anthology of about 350 hymns and supplications, the large majority from Moroccan poets, 18-19th century. 111 leaves written on both their sides. 17x11 cm.
The hymns are arranged according to maqamas. Some with notes regarding their composer. Alphabetical index of the supplications at the beginning of the manuscript. The manuscript has not been adequately inspected and has not been compared to other manuscripts.
Cardboard binding. Aging stains. Two leaves are detached. Fine-very fine condition.
