Recommendation for 'the wise, smart, G-d fearing…Massoud Levi ben Leuti tzaddik…Yosef Levi ben of the same tzaddik who sits and learn Torah and teaches Torah publicly… with lineage….with self-denial and fasts…Massoud Levi….", who lives in poverty.
Handwritten on thick parchment. 27x24 cm. The upper section is decorated with the 'Psukei Drachmei' styled like a gate. Stained, with a small tear on the bottom of the page. The parchment is rolled up within an original, metal case.
The letter is dated the 24th of Av, 1914, by רבי אברהם ב"ר יהודה דידיע אדרעי פה מתא סקתאנה.
