The large selection of Danish and mid-century modern funiture includes Norman Cherner for Plycraft Pretzel chairs, Danish modern furniture by Arne Vodder for Sibast and Knoll Bertoia chairs, as a well as an Uno & Osten Kristiansson chandelier. A large selection of artwork features pieces by Andy Warhol and Robert Indiana, as well as a collection of vintage Polish movie posters, etchings and Israeli art. Four Norman Cherner for Plycraft Pretzel Chairs
Norman Cherner (New York, NY, 1920-1987). Four "pretzel" side chairs designed for Plycraft. Lawrence, MA, circa 1960s. Mid Century Modern sculptural form chairs executed in walnut. "Plycraft Designed by Norman Cherner" sticker labels on undersides of all chairs. Marks, scratches, scuffs, staining, and water damage throughout seats and splats of all chairs. Chips to wood along top edges of all chairs. Nicks and scratches throughout wood on legs.
16 3/4" W x 21 1/4" D x 31 1/8" H. Seat height: 18 1/8" H. 32 lbs total.
