A handmade, painted Chinese temple roof tile by artist K.Y. Lin, depicting a mythological warrior-figure riding a dragon. 13" high x 15.5" x 3". Traditionally placed on the roof of a Chinese temple as a protective guardian-figure. Still attached with screws to backer cardboard from shipping and with original shipping box (17" x 16" x 7.5"). Estimated manufacture circa 1980's. As visible, in good condition (back view obstructed by packing material).
