Robert J Doyle (IN, 1912-1990) 25x30 , O/C , signed lower right , Still Life-Paints, Books , Depicting: artist's easel, books, potted plant Doyle studied art under George and Gordon Mess, was a student and friend of Indianapolis artist Edward R Sitzman, and exhibited in the Hoosier Salon in 1943, along with other exhibits at Marshall Fields, Chicago, and the Indiana Artists' Club. He was also Marketing Director for the historic, former Kingan's Cannery in Indianapolis
