Parcel sending receipt card of packet sent to prisoner 25056 Lucjan Hoffa in KZ Neuengamme sub-camp Drutte. Send in 1944, we can see was send 8,5 kg food or cloth. More info about this place : In 1937 in Salzgitter, the construction of the Hermann-Goring-Werke, a huge steel and armaments works and the nearby Volkswagen plants was started from scratch as part of the National Socialist four-year plan. After the outbreak of the war, production was sustained thanks to the work of tens of thousands of forced laborers. Moreover, three concentration sub-camps were established in Salzgitter. In the camp in Drutte alone (KZ Neuengamme sub-camp) at the end of 1944, there were approx. 3 thousand. prisoners. At the same time, the SS registered 630 deaths. Some of the inmates in the camp in March 1945 were driven to Bergen-Belsen in a death march.Very good condition.
