Original era manufacture. A wartime quality hat, doeskin feldgrau wool top, dark green wool band with dark green wool piping.
The front center of the cap features a second pattern national eagle and the front center of the centerband has a second pattern, stamped aluminum, oak-leaf wreath encompassing a three piece national tri-color cockade.
No (deliberately?) chin cord in twisted aluminium wire.
A black vukanfibre peak a subtly raised lip near the forward edge.
Pair of small silver pebbled aluminum buttons.
