POLISH AIR FORCE OFFICER OIL PORTRAIT BEF. WW II
An oil painting of a portrait of a Polish air force officer in a uniform from before 1936. The uniform shows the virtuti militari cross for the 1920 campaign (fighting against Soviet Russia) and the yellow color of the collar, a sign of Polish military aviation. Picture painted with oil paint on wooden board. Dimensions with frame 69 x 56 cm. The dimensions of the painting itself are 56 x 45 cm. No painter's signature. The picture was painted in the 1930s, as evidenced by the name and address of the Warsaw company that produced it on the frame: POLSKA SPÓŁKA POZŁOTNIKOW WARSZAWA ZURAWIA 31.
