Warka Dynasty. Two Letters of the Admor Rav Yechiel Chaim Yisrael Yitzchak Kalish- Ototzek 5698 [1938].
Thank you letter
handwritten and signed by the Admor Rav Yechiel Chaim Yisrael Yitzchak Kalish of אוטווצק.
Written in margins of the letter of the shammas- Rav Moshe, who also served as Shammas to Rav Bunim of Warka- at the Admor's instruction.
Included is an additional page, regarding the halachic measurement of a mikvah, according to the Admor's specifications.
On its margins are 3 lines in the Admor's handwriting.
Rav Yechiel Chaim Yisrael Yitzchak Kalish- son of Rav Menachem Mendel Kalish, grandson of Rav Simcha Bunim of Warka and grandson of the Admor of Alexander. From 5679 he replaced his father's position in Otwock, where he established a yeshiva and delivered shiurim there. He had a very similar appearance to that of his grandfather and had an unusually beautiful countenance. He perished al Kiddush Hashem in the holocaust (see Harebbi Hakadosh Meotvotsek page 121, Encyclopedia Lachassidus volume 2 page 202, and see Yismach Yisrael 16 page 44).
