Shana Tova letter from the Admor of Stropkov- Rav Yechezkel Shraga Lifshitz Halberstam.
Rav Yechezkel Shraga Lifshitz-Halberstam, the Admor of Stropkov (5668-5755 [1908-1995]), the son of the Admor Rav Shalom Halberstam of Stropkov's daughter and disciple. He served as Av Beis Din of Yablonka and as Dayan in Beregszasz. After the holocaust he served as Rav in the DP camps in Bomberg and in the Franconia district. In 5709 he made aliya to Eretz Yisrael and settled in Ramla. There, he established Beis Midrash Divrei Chaim. In 5713 he moved to Jerusalem and established the battei midrash of the Stropkov Chassidus.
