Letter from the Admor Rav Chanoch of Sochatchov and Rebbetzin Freidel.
Letter handwritten by the Admor Rav Chanoch Borenstein of Sochatchov to two of his nephews. On second page is a long letter (in Yiddish) from the Rebbetzin to them.
The Admor Rav Chanoch Henich Borenstein (5657-5725) was the son of the Admor known as the Shem Mishmuel. An extreme genius in both Torah and Kabbalah, he did not agree to become Admor until after the holocaust, in which his brothers- the Admorim Rav Dovid of Sochatchov and Rav Avraham of Kutno- both perished. He reestablished the Sochatchov Chassidus and the Sochatchov Yeshiva in the Bayis Vegan neighborhood in Jerusalem.
