Mishnayos of Seder Taharos- Copy of Rav Yirmiyah Kahan, son of the Miracle Worker- Rav Yissachar Ber Kahan of Sangeorge.
Rav Yirmiyahu Kahan (5635-5693), born in Sátoraljaújhely to his father, Rav Yissachar Ber Kahan of Sangeorge, author of Binas Yissachar.
Disciple of the Arugas Habosem [see Responsa Arugas Habosem, Yoreh Deah, section 126]. From 5660 was Av Beis Din of ניאראד-סרדה and in 5668, his uncle Rav Mordechai Yehuda Lau of אונטרדם appointed him as dayan in the city of נאסוד and after the first world war, he was called upon by the Atzey Chaim to serve as Rav of Solotvyno, in Sighet. [Chachmei Transylvania, page 123].
On title page is Rav Yirmiyah's stamp and possibly his signature, as well as his son-in-law's signature (who served in his place)- Rav Avraham Yaakov Halevi Horwitz, Av Beis Din of Solotvyno.
Berlin Mishnayos, 5626 [1866]. Title page is torn at bottom, tear with slight damage to text on page 48 in Masseches Kelim.
