Many Handwritten Notations by Rav Aharon Guttman of ווראנוב, on Sefer Kehillas Yaakov by The Melo Haroim.
Around eighty (!!) lengthy handwritten notations by Rav Aharon Guttman of ווראנוב on the kabbala sefer- 'Kehillos Yaakov' by Rav Yaakov Tzvi Yalish, author of Melo Haroim.
Lengthy notations, in which his encyclopedic knowledge is evident. His signature appears on page before title page. In a number of places, he notes his discourses which were printed in Tel Talpios (48b) and in Vaylaket Yosef (23a).
Rav Aharon Guttman of ווראנוב was a disciple of Rav Dovid Shik- Av Beis Din of טאקייא and author of Imrey Dovid [disciple of the Chasam Sofer]. He was known in his generation as one with encyclopedic knowledge of Shas and of all sefarim of the Acharonim. His wonderful discourses, located in sefarim 'Vaylaket Yosef' and 'Tel Talpios' were famous in Hungary during his time.
