Palestine Royal Commission Report (PEEL Commission) - 1937
London: HIs Majesty's Stationary Office, 1937.
The report of the Royal Commission for the Land of Israel, known as the "PEEL Commission", established in 1936 by the British government, in order to investigate the causes of the Great Arab Revolt. And to recommend steps for the future. The report includes three parts and recommends the division of the land into two states and a British mandate area. including a policy statement from His Majesty's Government adopting the proposed solution. Please note, this item is missing the 8 maps usually attached to the end of the report. There is one folding map on page 18.
English, 404 pages, 24X15 cm. No back cover, no maps at the end: otherwise in good overall condition with light wear.
