Boxed Lionel postwar O 1583w Wabash Diesel freight set, to include 2240P Wabash Diesel, 2240C Wabash Diesel "B" unit, 6414 Automobile car with all 4 cars, 1 each yellow, white, green & red, 6467 miscellaneous car, 3620 rotating searchlight car, 3562 operating barrel car with barrels, and a 6357 caboose, all trains look to be unrun, C8-9. only issues with any of these cars is a few scattered light box rubs to the blue paint on the A & B units just at the extreme rear bumper and the tips of the roof corners on the caboose. The barrel car and the searchlight car have their original box inserts, the barrels for the barrel car are in their original mini Lionel box, that box is an absolute brick. Also includes a 160 bin tray for the barrels, a sealed parts envelope containing 2 track spacers, 96c controller, otc track connector, 2 connecting wires, platform extension and an instruction sheet, paperwork including a 1955-56 operation manual and a 6 panel billboard card, this card has a tear near the wrigleys board and is folded with a split at the right side section, there is some scuffing to the Fram graphics and staining on the Snow Crop Peas sign. All boxes are complete with a couple with torn inner flaps, the searchlight car box has some ladder caused punch holes to the side panels as well as a nearly torn off end flap, all boxes have some age discoloration but are very nice in general, the "A" unit box has a split down most of the length of one edge, the auto carrier box has water damage and is missing one inner flap the set box is complete and in good condition with creases and some small areas with writing, there is one large skinned area to one side panel. This is an exceptionally nice condition set.
