A rare foundational Sefer.
Tur Yoreh Deah with the Sefer Drisha Iprisha by Rabbi Yehoshua Falk Katz, the Baal Hasmah. This is considered one of the most respected compositions on the Tur and became a cornerstone in the Psak Hasforim.
In the next edition, they omitted many things, which are in this first edition.
With many comments on the pages of the Sefer in ancient handwriting.
The Baal Hasmah was one of the greatest achronim, and head of the Mesivta in Lvov. The Shlah, the Baal Maginei Shlomo, Rabbi Meir Avi Hashach, and more.
Was brought to print by the sons of Rabbi Yosef Katz with comments from him and called Ksones Pasim.
Printed in Lublin in 1635, first edition.
Very good condition with a magnificent new half-leather binding. The last page is in fair condition with a large repaired tear.
