Roman Roundel with Female Motifs
1st-2nd century AD
A bronze annular mount with three central arms, each with a raised stylised vulva; pierced through the middle for attachment. 47 grams, 66mm (2 1/2"). Very fine condition.
Provenance
From the collection of a European gentleman living in South London; acquired 1970-1980.
