ENGRAVING TITLED MAID OF ORLEANS AFTER PAINTING BY HENRIETTA WARD (1832-1924) – 11IN x 14IN - 1880
Henrietta Ward (1832-1924) limited edition, steel engraving titled Maid of Orleans. It was engraved by T. Ballin, after a picture by Ward, published in The Art Journal, 1870. This piece was produced in 1880 by D. Appleton and Company on thick, heavy stock. It is double matted in a floating mat, and framed under glass. It measures 11 inches x 14 inches. This piece was acquired from a Virginia estate.
