המטאטא היה תיאטרון עברי סאטירי אשר פעל בתקופת היישוב ובימי ראשית המדינה. בסך שנות קיומו העלה למעלה מ-70 תוכניות סאטיריות. תיאטרון "המטאטא" נוסד באפריל 1928, כבמה לסאטירה פוליטית אקטואלית, הבוחנת באופן ביקורתי את המתרחש בארץ.
