Labas Aleksandr Arkadievich (1900, Smolensk – 1983, Moscow).

Russian Artist, representative of expressionism, one of the most distinctive masters of the EPA circle. Studied at the Stroganov Arts and Industrial School under F.F. Fyodorovsky (1912-1917), also visiting the Studio of I.I. Mashkov (1916) and Free Art Studios (1917) where was studying under P.P. Konchalovsky. Studied at the VhUTEMAS State Arts Institute (1921-1924), was one of the founders of the “Easel Painters Association” (EPA, 1925) Participant of the exhibitions since …. The works of A.A.
