Eight signatures (four in Hebrew, four in English) of the sculptor Nathan Rapoport (1911-1987), on images of four of his sculptures on four sheets of stamps of Keren Kayemet L'Yisrael.
Rapoport, born in Warsaw, Poland, was a sculptor and painter. Because he lost most of his family in the Shoah, many of his sculptures, particularly the most famous and most important, deal with the Holocaust. Two of his most famous sculptures, The Last March and The Warsaw Ghetto Uprising are displayed at Yad Vashem, in Jerusalem.
