ANTI-SEMITIC BOOKLET: "THE JEWS IN HOLLAND"
Rare war-date anti-Semitic booklet in Dutch: "De Joden in Nederland" by Hans Graf von Monts, 63pp. 8vo., containing dozens of discriminatory photos, including an image of Jews burning salted bread during Passover, captioned "The bread is holy to us - the Jew burns it!", an image of a Seder dinner captioned "[The Jews] celebrate...the curses against all that is not Jewish", and a typical image of Jews simply baking matzah bread, captioned "Only Jews are allowed to make their bread...we Christians and Dutch are still...in their eyes dogs...." Additional photographs portray a young Jewish boy as a petty thief, Jewish diamond dealers or jewelry salesmen, and an unflattering image of a Jewish lawyer, captioned partly: "The Jews have a completely different sense of law than we do..." The front cover depicts a shooting Star of David above three stereotypical depictions of a Jewish man. Slight damp stain on the covers, else fine.
