JEWS SEEK CLOTHING FOR THEIR IMPOVERISHED FELLOWS
Printed handbill, 1p. 12mo., Berlin, ca. 1938, a printed solicitation from the "Wardrobe of the Jewish Community". The card bears a citation In Hebrew from Isiah at top: "If you find one naked, clothe him". It continues: "...the Jewish community has the task of providing our needy faithful with the necessary objects of daily needs and helping to prevent misery...We will help you...by purchasing clothing of all kinds. However, the funds to be provided for this are by no means sufficient to meet the needs...Donate expendable but still usable clothing items! The need is great!..." Fine.
