"MICHAEL, WAKE UP!" ANTI-SEMITIC POLITICAL POSTER
Political poster issued by the Alliance to Combat Bolshevism", 9 x 13 in., printed in Berlin ca. 1924. The poster shows two "Jewish" businessmen manipulating puppets labeled as Germany's prominent political parties, including the Social Democratic Party of Germany, the Communist Party, and an unnamed Christian party. The text at bottom reads in part: "You have to dance as they whistle...they grin and take freedom, honor, money and women from you. Get rid of the scammers Germany, and free yourself!...Think of Lowenstein, Rosenfeld, Cohn, and Davidsohn!...Go to the polls, choose only the German National Party!" Marginal tears and a small stain at bottom, else good to very good.
