German WWII KRANIOMETER Head Measuring Device
German head circumference measuring device known as KRANIOMETER. It was used by scientists and doctors to measure people's head dimensions to know if they fit in the Aryan category or not. This 350mm or 13-3/4 inch long device is something you don't see every day for sale. The Nazis did extensive studies on sizes and shape of heads, hair and eye color to see who would fit into the category 'Aryan' and who would not according to their racial pseudo science. According to the source where we bought this from, this craniometer was found in the storehouse of a city hospital in München just after the war. However we don't have any documentation to back this origin up, but we guarantee that this is an original Third Reich artifact.
